Sean Newbold

Joint Managing Director & Technical Director

Nexsis launched in 2009, originally based from Sean’s kitchen table. Taking a huge risk of a start-up in the height of the global recession, Nexsis has evolved into a successful business employing a 25+ strong workforce.

With over 20 years’ experience, Sean started his career as an engineer and honed his skills in a range of positions, including four years travelling globally as an International Installation and Support Engineer.

Moving into pre-sales gave Sean a wealth of commercial and full project experience, including design consultancy and build systems.

Now in its tenth year, Nexsis is going from strength to strength as a national business specialising in network infrastructure solutions. Sean has ambitious plans to further grow the business but is passionate about retaining the first class customer service and tailored relationships a small business can offer.

Leon Braisby

Joint Managing Director & Operations Director

Nexsis launched in 2009, originally based from business partner Sean’s kitchen table. Taking a huge risk of a start-up in the height of the global recession, Nexsis has evolved into a successful business employing a 25+ strong workforce.

Leon started his career as an apprentice engineer at Datech where he stayed for 8 years before Joining the British Telecom engineering team. Whilst gaining a wealth of experience, Leon saw a market opportunity for delivering high quality structured cabling projects as a sub contractor, and started his own data cabling business in the late 1990’s, before joining forces with Sean to form Nexsis Communications.

Martyn Cole

Non-Executive Director

Martyn has over 30 years’ experience in the retail and technology industry having held senior leadership positions with Fujitsu, and as Head of Global Retail Services for The Body Shop International PLC.

More recently he has spent 15 years in several senior leadership roles within Microsoft (UK) most recently as Director of Consulting & Support Services (retail & commercial).

Martyn now has a number of Non-Exec roles helping the SME tech sector companies to grow and transform. He also works as a consultant, advisor and mentor to individuals and  private equity/investment companies.

Martyn has a successful track record of developing and delivering effective commercial, marketing and product strategies targeted at organic growth.
